On Thursday, 20th March, the Central Cooperative Fund hosted an informative meeting with representatives from the Malta Development Bank (MDB). During the session, cooperative representatives were introduced to a range of support initiatives offered by MDB, including the SME Guarantee Scheme. This scheme aims to facilitate access to finance for SMEs by providing guarantees to commercial banks, thereby enabling them to offer loans with lower interest rates and reduced collateral requirements. Such opportunities are designed to strengthen and empower the cooperative sector by easing financial constraints and promoting growth.
