For 36 years, he served as the General Manager/CEO of Koperattiva Produtturi tal-Halib Ltd. (KPH) and played a crucial role in the establishment and expansion of its subsidiary, Malta Dairy Products Ltd. (Benna), which became the leader of the Maltese dairy industry under his leadership. He actively participated in the co-operative movement and founded APEX, the Organisation of Maltese Co-operatives. He served on its council and the Committee of the Central Co-operative Fund for 12 and 16 years, respectively. He was also a board member of Bank of Valletta and the University Council. Received Midalja ghall-Qadi tar-Repubblika award in 2009.
